you can turn off BlackBerry camera shutter sound with BlackBerry CameraMuteApp on GSM devices. BlackBerry CameraMuteApp was developed by mobileutil.com. it can let you mute the annoying camera shutter sound on

BlackBerry GSM devices, so on all non xx30 devices.

How you use the BlackBerry CameraMuteApp:

1. You download the zip file below
2. You start the software, you will see a white screen display the following message:
   

   The device is currently not muted !

   This is a simple app to mute the camera shutter sound.

   Version 1.12. Do not use this application for any illegal purposes

3. Press the blackberry button and click “Add ‘Mute’ Menu-Item”
4. Then when you go to the camera, press the blackberry button and press mute.
5. Make sure you unmute the blackberry or else you will not hear you alarm clock, or incoming phone calls
6. to remove the button from your menu, simply reboot your blackberry

please keep in mind of local laws, do not do anything “Sk3tchy” with the mute camera app :P heheh
