The simplist way of doing this job is with a jail broken phone. First SSH into your phone and go to…

/private/var/mobile/Applications/

you are going to see a lot of folders with weird names. Unfortunately you are going to look through them all one by one. The best way to quicken this process is in your ftp client, to organize the folders by last modified.

So keep on looking in all the folders until you find one that looks like this

look for a folder that contains the sub folder /Fring.app/

now go into the folder and look for the file Message.wavand rename it to something like Messege.wav-stop.

Download this Messege.wav (right click) which is essential an empty file. Upload this file in the same folder where you found the original Messege.wav, and you done.

thats it, dont need to reboot or anything

I’ve see some more intenseive guides on how to do this. What software you need and such. If you have a jailbroken phone, with ssh. Then this is a two second job. SSH into

/System/Library/Audio/UISounds/

rename

photoShutter.caf to something like photoShutter.caf-backup

I run linux, and in order to configure your iPhone to work with TTLS-PAP for WPA2 Enterprise. You need the Iphone configuration tool, which is conveniently only for Mac and Windows. Getting a hold of a windows machine isnt that difficult, but it’s just a pain in the ass. I dont even want to install the stupid thing in windows. The fucking utility is 30 mb to create a stupid xml file. Well here i’ll save you the trouble for whoever finds this page. I uploaded a sample Wifi .mobileconfig XML file with TTLS-PAP and WPA2. Look through the file and change the variables that look like this *variable*. Then all you have to do is email yourself the file, and then read the .mobileconfig file with the iphone.
