i recently installed my favorite media center Boxee using the latest binary from the boxee.tv website

boxee-0.9.20.10710.i486.deb

however after spending and hour or two, looking for reasons why it wouldn’t start, i realized that you need to reboot the computer, before Boxee will run properly.

Yeah, it’s that easy of a fix

I keep forgetting the command for this, so I’m making this post as a reference for myself

sudo smbmount //192.168.0.100/boxee/Music /mnt/music -o username=boxee
